Day 46 : "One challenge over..."

So, this will be the last time that I hijack my own blog to mention Movember! (I promise!)

In the morning I'll be shaving my 'tache off.  I've raised £73 in total (thank you to everyone who has donated).  I would love to get to £100, so if you haven't yet donated and would like to, you can do so here:

I'm going to miss my 'tache!

I am quite looking forward to shaving it off though, as I think I'll look quite different to myself... the last time I had a fluff-free face, it was still quite a lot fatter, so I'm hoping I might look a tad younger than I have for some time with a cleanly-shaven, thinner-than-before mug!  Well, here's hoping anyway...


Two days of ibuprofen, protein and lots of water, combined with a slightly-less strenuous workout last night, seem to have done the trick with my painful shoulder and calf.  Both were pain free by the time I got into the gym tonight, and I even braved a long, heavy shoulder workout.  It's a bit sore again now, but doesn't feel 'wrong' like it did the night before last.  And after my stomach exercises, I did 30 minutes on the cross trainer with no problems from my calf.  Hoorah!  Good calf.

My diet today has consisted of:

- Breakfast:  An apple, a banana AND a satsuma.  Steady on!
- Lunch:  A tuna salad;
- Dinner:  A tuna and mackerel salad.
